I have hired David to be the local Project Manager for our French SAP implementation project across two sites. David is a born consultant with all the personality traits that are needed to be a very successful project leader. He is energetic, smart, AND intelligent, very attentive and knows extremely well how to deal with various people and personalities in an efficient way. At the same time, he has got deep knowledge of SAP as well. The combination of his interpersonal skills, technical knowledge and experience makes him an extremely appealing 'proposition'. From 2017 to 2021, I had the opportunity to work with David on deploying the Kyriba tool for LONGCHAMP. At that time, David was an SAP Project Advisor while I served as the Group Treasury Director. The challenge of our collaboration was to enable the connection of the TMS with the external banking ecosystem and internal applications, with SAP at the forefront. We developed an innovative approach to SWIFT banking connectivity by implementing formats and interfaces based on open standards ISO 20022 & XML. These facilitated the efficient and rapid deployment of the Kyriba tool for the entire group on a complex international scale. This significantly transformed the working methods of the Treasury team, allowing for faster data processing and delivering high-quality performance indicators. Throughout these years, David exhibited both perseverance and intelligence. He is a committed team player who delivers according to the planned roadmap. His technical and human skills set the standard for the success of key projects.
